Order of play
- Determined either by lot agreement or by the throw of a single dart. Highest rank card begins. If two or more players hit the same card the first player to hit it has priority. (Rotate the order of play for the next game)
- A player in the draw shall re-throw if a dart fails to ' stick' in the board (or fails to stick in a card)
The Draw
- Player ONE throws TWO darts. Before the next player commences, player ONE must decide to 'TAKE' one or both darts thrown. He must 'TAKE' and record at least ONE of his/her 'DRAW' cards.Player TWO and all other players follow, throwing 2 darts to complete the 'DRAW'. Each must throw 'TWO' darts and register at least ONE of his/her 'DRAW' cards.
- When all players have thrown TWO darts, the 'DRAW' is completed by players in order throwing consecutively THREE more darts. Players must decide and record the cards that they would like to 'TAKE'. (None, some or all)
- The DRAW is completed when all players have thrown FIVE legal darts and decided to 'TAKE' at least ONE of the cards hit.
The Buy
- Player ONE completes his hand by (buying) throwing the darts required to complete his FIVE card hand, i.e. If player ONE kept both cards from the draw he would throw consecutively THREE remaining darts to complete his hand. A player who only kept ONE card would throw FOUR and a player who kept FOUR would only throw ONE, etc.
- The winner is the player with the highest ranked hand
